Born in Deutschland 1965, hometown was Bütthart, parents were not U.S. government employees. However, when father was tricked into joining the U.S. Air Force Civil Service, in 1969, with the promise that we could remain in Germany, we were promptly shipped off to Iran. Due to one of my Iranian educators being disappeared, along with her husband, by the U.S. ally Shah of Iran's Israeli & U.S. created Savak (for the then official terrorist act of promoting the idea that women can vote), and due to my U.S. citizen mother being placed on Savak's Terrorist Arrest List (for supporting the idea that women should vote, at that time the U.S. ally Shah of Iran did not allow women to vote, now they can) we left Iran for the United States in 1973, literally in the middle of the night. At the U.S. Embassy airbase the CIA operated Gooney Bird (C-47) was so packed with other U.S. citizens fleeing our ally Iran (because the Shah gave the OK to arrest any U.S. citizen for such terrorist acts as promoting the concept of voting) that we were turned away by the Loadmaster and had to take a chance on a civilian flight out of Tehran's airport. My father told me he and my mother had three culture shocks; first when they arrived in Germany as civilians, then after being shipped off to Iran as U.S. government employees, then again returning to the United States as unemployed civilians (because so much had changed in the U.S. while they were gone, their only news source was the U.S. Armed Forces Radio & Television Service which heavily censored information about the home front). Since I graduated high school in 1982 I've worked for U.S. government contractors and state & local government agencies (in California), convenience store manager in California, retail/property management in Georgia, California and Idaho. Spent the 1990s in the TV news business producing number one rated local news programs in California, Arizona and Idaho. 14+ years with California and Idaho Army National Guard and the U.S. Air Force. Obtained a BA degree in International Studies from Idaho State University at the age of 42. Unemployed since 2015, so don't tell me the economy has recovered.

What Economic Recovery? Editor says we were never in a Recession, we ARE in a Depression, big bank speculators to blame

“It is much worse than a recession, in fact it is even worse than a depression… The White House has told us we have been on a recovery…which is a complete lie.”-Edward Spannaus, Executive Intelligence Review

“…there will be no recovery…until we take steps to deal with the Wall Street gambling casino, the speculators, which is what is really killing our economy.”

“…shutting down the big speculator banks.  And the way to do that is by restoring Franklin Roosevelt’s law, the Glass Steagall law, which would shut down the gambling casino, wipe out the phoney debts, and that would enable us to get around to rebuilding our economy…”

“I question even the term ‘investors’ these days, because an investor is someone who invests for the long term.  And what you see today in these markets, is very short term speculation.”

“As long as these banks are sitting on huge piles of money, from bailouts, from the Federal Reserve giving them free money, and they’re just speculating with this, they’re not investing, not lending to businesses, they’re not doing anything to create jobs.”

What Economic Recovery? Main Street America in Depression, Child hunger and crime numbers prove it

“The State of America’s Children is absolutely horrific and what’s worst of all is that very few people in America know about this…added to this we’re going through what I call a Main Street Depression, it is worse than the 1930s…”-Stephen Lendman, commentator Chicago

The Annie E. Casey Foundation, a non-profit child advocacy group, revealed that 31 million children live in families that are one or two paychecks away from economic catastrophe.

The Casey Foundation’s study also found that between 2007 and 2009, 5.3 million children had to leave their homes due to foreclosure.

The Children’s Defense Fund echo’s the Casey Foundation’s report.  The CDF says the bad economy is driving up the number of children involved with dropping out of school, hunger, crime, etc, to record levels.

Many other organizations are coming up with corresponding data.

Dumb Americans: U.S. residents blackmailed out of $40 million by fortune tellers

The U.S. Federal court says a Florida family used fortune telling to intimidate people out of $40 million.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Laurence Bardfeld said the victims forked over cash, gold coins and jewelry.  The fortune tellers said bad things would happen if they didn’t pay up.

The Sun Sentinel reports that one victim, a bestselling author, gave an estimated $20 million.

Global Economic War: Germany Burning, a week of car fires in Berlin, now Hamburg is on fire

For the past couple of weeks Berlin has been plagued with car fires.  At first police thought it was the usual anti-elitists targeting the cars of wealthy people, but many cars were not owned by the rich.

Now, hundreds of Germans are rioting in Hamburg. It started during a street festival.  People began attacking and burning banks.

2,500 police are on the streets, using water cannons. Police don’t relate this to the increasing number of poor people in Germany. Police say these Hamburg riots happen every year.

United Nations calls for action against Israel

The bureau calls for credible and decisive action to compel Israel to abide by its legal obligations and to protect Palestinian civilians under prolonged military occupation from the damaging effects of settlements and settlers.”-UN Bureau of the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People

The UN Committee for Palestinians is upset over Israel’s planned illegal building of 5,200 settlement homes in Palestinian territory around al Quds (Jerusalem).

The committee said it violated existing UN resolutions, and guaranteed that there will be no peace.  The committee also called on the UN Security Council to take action against Israel: “The Security Council and the High Contracting Parties to the Geneva Conventions bear a special responsibility in this regard.”

Turkey says Israel will pay for killing 9 Turkish citizens

“….Israel will have to pay.”-Ahmet Davutoglu, Turkish Foreign Minister

Turkey is still waiting for Israel to at least apologies for killing nine Turkish citizens in 2010.  The Turkish citizens were trying to get aid to Palestinians in Gaza.  Israel has blockaded Gaza for years.

Israel refuses to even apologize.  Turkey used to be one of Israel’s strongest supporters in the region, but not anymore.

Anti Israel demonstrations spread through Egypt, Jordanians surround Israeli Embassy

Egyptians in the city of Alexandria have joined those in Cairo in protesting Israel, and calling for action against the zionist country.

In Cairo one protestor climbed onto the Israeli embassy and torn down the Israeli flag, replacing it with the Egyptian flag.

In Jordan people have surrounded the Israeli embassy.  They are demanding Israel stop attacking Palestinians.

Emergency meetings, Israel will escalate attacks, the Arab League will respond

“The Arab League received a request from the Palestinian state … and after negotiations it decided to host an urgent meeting on the level of the permanent representatives at 12 PM [Sunday].”-Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, Arab League spokesman

The Arab League is holding an emergency meeting concerning the recent Israeli attacks on Gaza. This is in response to reports that Israel will increase attacks. The Arab League has 22 member countries.

The Israeli media is reporting that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held an emergency meeting, to discuss plans for escalating Israel’s attacks on Palestinians.

Egypt has already demanded Israel stop its aggression.  The people of Egypt are demanding military action against Israel.

The Israelis say they must escalate attacks after one Israeli was killed in the early morning of August 21.  This after Israel killed dozens of Palestinians and several Egyptians (and that doesn’t count people Israel killed in recent weeks, before this latest violence).  I’ve said this before “Cry me a river Israel!!!”

Evil Bank of America secretly tells Rick Perry he’s their man, but it’s caught on a live microphone

“Bank of America, we will help you out.”-BofA official as he quickly brushed passed Texas Governor Rick Perry.

The BofA official thought no one heard, but a live CSPAN mic picked up the hushed comment.

The bank official was identified as James Mahoney, Bank of America’s director of public policy.  BofA claims they did nothing wrong, because Mahoney is a democrat, and Perry is a republican.
