The Washington Post has just revealed leaked documents given to them by a whistleblower.  The documents show that the FBI and NSA have been taking your internet data.

Under Operation PRISM (began under Bush Jr), they take your audio, video, pics, e-mails, connection logs and other documents.  It involves Microsoft, Yahoo, Google, Facebook, PalTalk, AOL, Skype, YouTube and Apple.

Under Operation BLARNEY, ‘metadata’ (communications) are collected in bulk, after it passes through internet choke points.

PRISM & BLARNEY are the latest in what the NSA calls Special Source Operations that originate in the 1970s!

The Washington Post claims they were given powerpoint slides of the operations by a “career intelligence officer”.  This comes just one day after the Guardian, in the United Kingdom, revealed top secret U.S. order to seize cell phone data.

In both cases, the info was published by the news media sources late in the day, here in the U.S.   Also, I noticed these ‘leaked’ documents come as the Bilderberg meetings began in the United Kingdom.  Is there a connection?

Internet service providers have repeatedly stated that they do not arbitrarily give your info to the government, but, they do so within the law.
