In September 2025, the first ever State Sniper Qualifier on Raymond Rees National Guard Training Center and Boardman Training Area was conducted. It is a three-day, nine-stage competition challenging participants with complex problem-solving scenarios testing marksmanship, decision-making, and adaptability under time pressure, going beyond traditional range training.
