This is an incomplete list of links to massive U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) administrative errors, since the beginning of Gregorian 2023:
For months we’ve heard U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Woke Folk cry about low recruitment/reenlistment numbers, but at the same time the Woke Folk in the U.S. Army have been forcing pilot/air crews of rotary wing and fixed wing aircraft to leave the Service years before their contracts were completed!
The Woke Folk with the U.S. Navy have been forcing out doctors and dentists!
The Woke Folk in the U.S. Air Force have been overpaying their personnel with your taxes!
Air Force Times: Air Force allows airmen to keep $2.3-million in overpayments!
Security Boulevard: DoD admin server has no password requirement, three terabytes (TB) of personnel data stolen!
Stars and Stripes: U.S. Army error means hundreds of pilots owe three more years of service, some threaten lawsuits!
Army Times: At least 190 pilots left the Army years early due to admin error!
Navy Times: Sailors who fail the physical fitness test have their slates wiped clean, allowed to remain!
NBC: Navy forces out Doctors & Dentists, then tries to force them back in years later!
Realize that in 2022, the death of a Navy SEAL was blamed on lack of competent medical personnel!
This reminds me of what happened to my son a decade ago. I suddenly got a phone message that my son was being discharged for medical reasons, and to pick him up at the Salt Lake City International Airport the next day. What I wasn’t told was that he had suffered a medical ‘event’ and that instead of treating him the U.S. Army decided it was a pre-existing condition and discharged him from service. After getting to our Idaho home, from the Utah airport, it became clear to me my son was having a stroke. The local hospital life-flighted him back to Salt Lake City, to the University of Utah hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery on his brain stem, then a month and a half of physical therapy.
I asked the neurosurgeons to sign statements that what happened to my son was not a ‘pre-existing condition’, but all of them refused because they did not want to get involved with the DoD!
My son went on to become a long haul truck driver for several years, then attended Boise State University, and has since been rapidly climbing the career ladder of one of the top electronics companies in the United States. While he was driving truck, he got a letter from the Woke Folk in the U.S. Army saying they had reviewed their medical records and decided they had made a mistake and offered him a chance to return. He wisely refused!
National Federation of Federal Employees: Back in 2017, the U.S. Marine Corps tried to ‘demote’ civilian police personnel on Camp Pendleton, and even tried to force them to repay tens of thousands of dollars, claiming it was all and administrative error that was allowed to persist for ten years!
