World War 3: Israel detains and humuliates Turkish tourists, Turkey responds in kind

On September 4, Israeli security forces detained a group of Turkish tourists, and made them strip naked: “…they took us into changing rooms. (We) took off our clothes and shoes. (They) searched our bodies with their hands and then with a detector.”-Arif Cinar, Turkish citizen

On September 5, Turkey responded in kind by detaining Israeli tourists: “They were taken to separate rooms to be questioned. Their passports were taken. After about an hour and a half of waiting, they were questioned one by one and after that they got their passports back and then they were free to go.”-Ilana Stein, Israeli Foreign Ministry

The amazing thing is that Israeli officials admit they have been intentionally humiliating Turkish tourist who pass through the Ben Gurion airport, at least for the past year.

Tensions between Israel and Turkey have worsened ever since the 2010 killing of nine Turkish peace activists by Israeli forces.  Turkey is demanding an apology from Israel, as well as a lifting of the Israeli blockade of Gaza.  Of course Israel refuses.

Israel bombs Gaza, close to Egyptian border

August 24, a vehicle in the town of Rafah, near the Egyptian border was hit by an Israeli missile.  One man killed, one injured.

This comes after Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak, said: “This is a delicate situation and there is a real risk of endangering the (1979 Egyptian-Israeli) peace treaty, which is a precious strategic asset for Israel.”

A ceasefire was agreed to, but only between Hamas and Israel.  Hamas does not control all of Gaza.  Rocket attacks against Israel, since the cease fire, were done by rivals to Hamas.  The man killed by Israel today, is said to be a member of Islamic Jihad, not Hamas.

It is now known that the August 18 attacks on Israeli tour buses were not done by Hamas, but by a group known as Popular Resistance Committees.  Earlier Israel, and most of the western media, blamed Hamas for the tour bus attacks.

U.S. threatens Egypt: No more aid if you attack Israel

“The United States aid to Egypt is predicated on the peace treaty between Egypt and Israel, and so the relationship between Egypt and Israel is extremely important.”– Kay Granger, Congresswoman, in an interview with Israeli media

U.S. Congresswoman Kay Granger, told Egypt that if they retaliate for Israel’s killing of their border troops, all U.S. aid to Egypt will stop.

Granger is a recipient of bribes from the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC).

Iran moving nuclear equipment underground, says Israel will attack

The new facilities that are being opened were built years ago, and the reason was because the U.S. and its ally Israel were constantly making threats against Iran, against international law, that they will bomb Iran’s nuclear facilities.”-Seyed Marandi, Tehran University

Iran has begun moving centrifuges and uranium enrichment equipment to underground bunkers.  They have already told the International Atomic Agency about the move.

Iranian officials say the move is to try and protect scientists.  Already several Iranian nuclear scientists have been assassinated.  Iran suspects Israel or the Untied States of the assassinations.

Israel invades West Bank, while offering peace to Gaza

Israeli troops raided Hebron, West Bank, and detained 120 men.  Analysts say it was a desperate attempt by Israelis to prevent any attacks coming from West Bank.  Officially Israel says all the men are members of Hamas, but local Palestinians say they is no proof to support that claim.  Palestinians in the West Bank responded by throwing rocks at the Israeli soldiers.  The Israelis responded by shooting at the rock throwers.  Yeah, rocks versus bullets, cry me a river Israel!!!

While Israel troops were raiding West Bank in the middle of the night, Israeli officials offered Gazans a cease fire, but only if they stop launching their retaliatory rockets.  Of course Israel immediately launched air strikes after making the cease fire offer.  One Hamas official responded: “All attempts by the occupation to hit at Hamas are doomed to fail; experience has shown that it only makes Hamas stronger.  If the [Israeli] aggression stops, Hamas will consult with the Palestinian factions about how to deal with the situation.”-Mushir al-Masri, Palestinian MP in Gaza

Arab League demands United Nations take action against Israel

“The United Nations has to take procedures to stop the Israeli offensive on Gaza.”-Nabil El-Araby, Arab League Secretary General

After an emergency meeting, the Arab league has condemned the Israeli attacks on Gaza, and demand action by the United Nations.

The Arab League also condemned “Israeli aggression against the Egyptian forces”.

More than a week ago Israeli officials admitted they were willing to go to war to stop the UN recognition of Palestine as a UN member.  Also, recently a former Israel defense official admitted that plans have been made to take the Sinai.

United Nations calls for action against Israel

“The bureau calls for credible and decisive action to compel Israel to abide by its legal obligations and to protect Palestinian civilians under prolonged military occupation from the damaging effects of settlements and settlers.”-UN Bureau of the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People

The UN Committee for Palestinians is upset over Israel’s planned illegal building of 5,200 settlement homes in Palestinian territory around al Quds (Jerusalem).

The committee said it violated existing UN resolutions, and guaranteed that there will be no peace.  The committee also called on the UN Security Council to take action against Israel: “The Security Council and the High Contracting Parties to the Geneva Conventions bear a special responsibility in this regard.”

Former Israeli military leader says it’s time for War with Egypt, plans were made a week ago

“This is the time for the Israeli army to prevail its control inside Sinai.”-Uzi Dayan

August 20, the famous former head of Israel’s National Security Council, Uzi Dayan, says Israel should use the current situation to justify launching attacks on Egyptian territory.

Dayan also revealed that a meeting was held in the presence of Israeli Army Chief of Staff Benny Jants, last week, to discuss issues related to Sinai Peninsula, but he did not elaborate.
