Summer AutoFest: Model A, original recipe

1928 Ford, originally purchased in Oakland, California, on 20JUN1928, for a whopping price of $865 (including extras, and after a $10 deposit was paid)!

During The Great Depression that followed the original sale of this car, Ford Model As (and Model Ts) became true survival vehicles for people fleeing the murderous Dust Bowl for new life on the West Coast.  The car is now owned by one of the sponsors of the car show, here’s my video:

Phil Meador inaugural Summer AutoFest, with dozens of show quality vehicles inside the mall, and more vehicles outside the mall. 24th through 25th August 2024, at the Pine Ridge Mall in Chubbuck, Idaho.

The event was organized by the Pocatello Car Club, with assistance from the Idaho Classic and Modern Muscle car club.
