On 09MAR2023, WVEC, in Virginia, reports that Guard personnel are not getting their civilian jobs back when returning from deployments, in violation of federal law (this has always been a problem, even during the Cold War):
On 08MAR2023, it was reported that New Hampshire deployed National Guard personnel to the state prison, due to lack of prison guards!
On 07MAR2023, General Daniel Hokanson, of the federal National Guard Bureau, praised the various state National Guard units that have been training Ukrainians on Grafenwoehr, Germany: “It is important for me to see you here to ensure you have everything you need to make the Ukrainians successful. The whole world is watching the work you’re doing, and it’s making a huge difference.”

They also revealed California’s Ukraine Fusion Cell (UFC), established within 24 hours of Russia’s crossing into Ukraine.
On 02MAR2023, Virginia Army National Guard revealed it acquired an abandoned prison to be used as a ‘readiness center’ for future deployments:
From 26FEB2023 to 02MAR2023, Virginia Army National Guard militia personnel took part in an advanced infantry tactics exchange with soldiers and representatives from the Republic of Tajikistan.
North Dakota newspaper reports that since 2014 the state National Guard has been deployed out-of-state 15 times!
