In Los Olivos, only a year after being saved from foreclosure, and despite signing a new seven years lease, iconic Mattei’s Tavern shutdown due to lack of customers.  In Berkeley, after almost 50 years upscale restaurant Hs Lordships shutdown, the lease is up and apparently other businesses are fighting over the space.   Online food ordering company Munchery issued a shutdown WARN for its Gardena location, 82 jobs lost in July (Munchery shuts down operations in LA, New York and Seattle).  In Saint Helena, after 30 years Terra shutdown its restaurant and bar locations, blaming lack of qualified workers caused by competition and lack of affordable housing for employees: “It is mostly about staffing. NEW YORK: Eden Ale House suddenly shutdown.  In Watertown, after almost 20 years Sandy’s Luncheonette shutdown, the owner blamed increased competition and increased costs of food, minimum wage, utilities and insurance.  In NYC, after 116 years (surviving The Great Depression and numerous recessions) Glaser’s Bake Shop shutting down in July, the brother owners say “we’re gettin’ old.”  Umami Burger shutting down its Hudson Hotel location, 71 jobs gone by mid-July.  In Poughkeepsie, restaurant/sports bar Tilted Kilt suddenly shutdown after only two years, officially saying “Due to the economic downturn, we are closing the pub permanently…”  In Thompson, after 32 years Blue Horizon Diner shutdown, to be replaced by a bank.  The owner of the diner said the bank made her an offer she couldn’t refuse.  The Jackson Heights IHOP shutting down, 53 jobs gone by the end of August due to not being able to renew the lease.   Trans-Packers Services issued a shutdown WARN for its Brooklyn-NYC food packaging ops, 105 jobs lost to New Jersey in July!

NORTH CAROLINA: In Burlington, once popular but now dead Stokely’s BBQ officially chapter 11 bankrupt busted.  Local news media said that last year the owners had plans to expand due to booming sales and bankruptcy document show they were making profits in 2017, but for some unknown reason sales crashed big time during the first four months of 2018.  In Raleigh, the 50 years old Baskin-Robbins ice cream shop shutdown so the owners can retire.

NORTH DAKOTA: In Minot, after 14 years Sevens bar and Restaurant shutdown due to a sudden crash in sales, probably as a result of a nearby motel shutting down in February.

OHIO:  In Akron, Fairlawn’s West Point Market now chapter 11 bankrupt busted, partly due to delays in city permitting for constructing a new on-site bakery.

OKLAHOMA: In Tulsa, after 78 years Ann’s Bakery shutting down in July, the current owner blaming it on a death in the family and that “the town has moved south”.

OREGON: In Portland, after more than 85 years (surviving The Great depression and numerous recessions) Sunshine Dairy now chapter 11 bankrupt busted and being sold to a competitor.   Evil vulture capitalist Cerberus Capital owned, Idaho based, Albertsons-Safeway suddenly announced the shutdown of the Jantez Beach Safeway, 75 jobs gone by June.

TEXAS: In The Woodlands-Houston, Bloomin’ Brands-Bonefish Grill and 14 years old burger joint Culver’s both shutdown.  The owner of Culver’s said they couldn’t renew the lease.  Bloomin’ Brands gave no acceptable reason for shutting down Bonefish Grill calling it a “business decision”.

VERMONT: Struggling coffee company Keurig Green Mountain suddenly laid off 53 people, as part of ongoing efforts to regain profitability.

WASHINGTON:  Seattle based online cooked meal delivery company Peach suddenly laid off 33% of its employees, blaming it on a “sales experiment”.  Evil vulture Cerberus Capital owned, Idaho based, Albertsons-Safeway shutting down two Seattle area grocery stores (a Albertsons and a Safeway) in June claiming that no matter what they did the stores just can generate enough profits to keep the vulture capitalist investors happy.  Another reason is that city imposed regulations have increased operating costs: “As a result of the implementation of a series of regulations in just the past three years, our city stores have experienced over a 10% increase in operating expenses. Due to the fact that we are a mainstream grocer with the primary purpose of holding down prices to provide value to customers in all of our locations, we are not able to adjust to additional expenses simply by increasing our prices.”

WISCONSIN: In Madison, after three years Red Elephant Chocolate shutdown its brick-n-mortar store to focus on special events, wholesale and internet deliveries.  Hall of Fame Chophouse shutdown its 17 years old Green Bay location, apparently its being replaced with a new concept restaurant.

WYOMING: In Cheyenne, the Candy Store Emporium Museum shutdown due to the landlord reneging on the two year lease option.

More proof you can’t blame man made air pollution on Global Warming-Climate Change for coral reef deaths:  In November 2015 the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) warned Skincare Chemical Threatens Coral Reefs.

Time.com, in 2015, said Sunscreen Killing Reefs.

In February 2018, the Sweden based International Coral Reef Initiative (ICRI) revealed the impacts of sunscreens on coral reefs.

In April 2018 National Geographic reported Sunscreen, Clothing, And Other Coral Reef-Safe Alternatives.

At the end of June, 2018, Mother Nature News said Why your sunscreen is bad for coral reefs.

And for more proof you can’t blame man made air pollution on Global Warming-Climate Change glacier melt-off, recent discoveries reveal that polar ice sheets are actually melting due to volcanic activity. In August 2017 The Guardian reported Scientists discover 91 volcanoes below Antarctic ice sheet.

In October 2017 The Weather Channel reported Volcanic Eruptions May Be Rapidly Melting Arctic Ice Sheets.

In June 2018, the Independent reported Active volcano discovered beneath Antarctic ice sheet could be contributing to rapidly melting glacier.

U.S. FOOD CRISIS: WEST VIRGINIA OPERATION CARROT? STATE SPONSORED SURVIVALISM!

U.S. Food Crisis, March 2018:“WE ARE LOSING CUSTOMERS EVERYDAY” MORE THAN 11-THOUSAND JOBS KILLED!

U.S. Food Crisis: West Virginia Operation Carrot? State sponsored survivalism!

16APR2018 (13:14 UTC-07 Tango 06)  27 Farvardin 1397/30 Rajab 1439/01 Bing-Chen (3rd month) 4716

You know things are bad when the National Guard starts teaching people how to grow carrots!  That’s what they’re doing in West Virginia.

Apparently there is such a low supply of carrots in the region that West Virginia’s National Guard and Capitol Conservation District are conducting operations Patriot Guard-ens and Farm Roots (in that order).  The first Farm Roots carrot growing course was conducted on 13APR2018, however, Patriot Guardens was started in 2017 (The Journal: “National Guard is transitioning armories into agriculture transition/training hubs”).

It’s not just a low supply of carrots but Director of Patriot Guardens Education and Deputy Director of Economic Development, Melissa Stewart, also says it’s about prepping for survival: “Sharing my knowledge of agricultural production is one way that I hope to help our participants find some peace of mind through working with their hands toward developing a more self-sufficient lifestyle.”

Patriot Guardens op at Recovery Point in Charleston, 22APR2017

One reason for the carrot shortage is that West Virginia’s dirt is not conducive to growing carrots, so the taxpayer/donation funded program is teaching individuals how to use raised beds and better soil.  The National Guard claims they’ve also got buyers waiting in the wings; area restaurants that are having a hard time getting affordable carrots.

Slow disaster relief: Florida militia discovers a major cause, new preps for Hurricanes!

16APR2018 (12:27 UTC-07 Tango 06)  27 Farvardin 1397/30 Rajab 1439/01 Bing-Chen (3rd month) 4716

“I stressed after Hurricane Irma that we have to get our counterparts trained as well, because we’re going to need them. We knew that it was not enough to take on the mission with just the four of us.”-Master Sergeant Abea Balala, Florida Air National Guard

Army National Guard units are the typical bringers of disaster relief aid, unless roads are impassable and then the Air National Guard is used to airlift supplies into affected areas.

During Hurricane Irma relief efforts Florida Air National Guard Master Sergeant Abea Balala, and his four person team, noticed a major problem with the supplies they got from Army Guard units; while the supplies were packaged for transport by ground vehicles they were not in a condition to be shipped by air (or a lot of personnel had to be used to on & off-load one box at a time), meaning everything had to be re-palletized before being loaded on aircraft.  This was a major cause of slow delivery times.

My experience in both the U.S. Air Force and the Army National Guard revealed that Air Force units do not have the manpower to quickly palletize a lot of stuff on short notice, but Army units do.

In this pic of Hurricane Harvey relief notice how National Guard personnel are ‘bucket brigade-ing’ supplies, one box at a time, off the C-130

The ‘higher-ups’ liked the suggestion of Master Sergeant Abea Balala, and last week the Florida National Guard conducted a week-long air transport pallet buildup and cargo preparation course for Army units: “On the Joint Operations side, we’ve been working with the Air side a lot more over the last two years than we ever had. They’re actually part of what is called the ‘Joint Support Group’ … and we work together to coordinate everything throughout hurricane seasons. It means better response, it means better use of our resources. It means if we pack things right and move things right, supplies are going to get to them faster, cheaper, and ultimately may save lives.”-Captain Daniel Munzner, Florida Army National Guard

Human Bones: More proof climate change is outta our hands!

09APR2018 /23:13 UTC-07 Tango 06  (21 Farvardin 1397/24 Rajab 1439/25 Bing-Chen 4716)

“It’s normal. Almost all humans and animals that ever lived will disappear without trace.”-Huw Groucutt, University of Oxford

Recently dated homo sapiens finger bones, found in the desertified Arabian Peninsula, suggest that modern humans are way older than even most scientists thought, and it proves that radical climate change is older than dirt.

The bones date to about 88-thousand years ago, and other objects at the site date to about 90-thousand years ago.  That’s during the end-times of the Great Ice Age, pre-Great Flood (which were both radical climate change events)!

Archaeologists/Paleontologists are now considering the possibility that homo sapiens spread out of the African continent at least 180-thousand years ago, that’s double the current ‘accepted’ time-line (this is also proof that ‘scientists’ do not have absolute knowledge).

But what caught my attention was when the scientists stated: “The interesting thing. is that in the past some people have said we couldn’t really spread into Asia until we had complex tools. [Our findings] suggest that that kind of migration didn’t really reflect a technological breakthrough, but reflects climate change.-Huw Groucutt, interviewed by BBC

At the time that the Earthly humans were first living on what we now call the Nefud Desert of the Arabian Peninsula, it was not a sea of sand, it was literally a Garden of Eden: “Early H. sapiens dispersals out of Africa were not limited to winter rainfall-fed Levantine Mediterranean woodlands immediately adjacent to Africa, but extended deep into the semi-arid grasslands of Arabia, facilitated by periods of enhanced monsoonal rainfall.Homo sapiens in Arabia by 85,000 years ago

Archaeologists/Paleontologists also used the latest technologies to scan back into time, as far back as 500-thousand years ago, realizing that climate change is a constant and that it directly affects human evolution: “One of the first things that we did was remote sensing. We looked at satellite images for example, and found that there are literally thousands of ancient rivers that crisscrossed Saudi Arabia. We also now count 10,000 ancient lakes.

The most amazing thing, to me, are the fossil finds. They say something about the kinds of animals that could migrate into Arabia. We have fossils of elephants; these were gigantic creatures, much larger than the African elephant. Amazingly, we also have hippos. These finds tell you something of how wet it really was. Because hippos cannot survive in very arid and dry situations, so the environment had to be green for them to survive. So, there were surely lots of lakes and rivers all across Arabia, and there was plenty of grass with vegetation for these animals to consume

So far, we’ve dated sites to the last 500,000 years, during which the Earth’s climate has shifted. We’ve seen that archaeological sites correspond with every single wet phase.Michael Petraglia,  Max Planck Institute for the Science of Human History

The ancient Sumerian Lost Book of Enki has always said that humans were much older than what religious leaders, and even scientists, thought.  It even warns that all the ancient catastrophes, whether (weather?) caused by nature or humans, will happen again.
