A mom in Orange County, Michigan, is now in prison for refusing to vaccinate her nine years old son, despite professing religious reasons for opposing the eight shots.  But this is not a case of medical Big Brotherism.

The problem is actually an ongoing parental ‘rights’ fight between the woman and her ex-husband.  The father wants his son to get the eight vaccines, the court ruled in the father’s favor.

Another problem for mom is that court records show she originally agreed to comply with the decision: “The court was really left with no alternative except to take this action based on the fact that she’d indicated she wasn’t going to follow the order.”-Benton Richardson, father’s attorney
