Ghazni Province: In Andar District, villagers report that government mercenaries (security contractors) attacked a religious Madrasa and burned the Qurans.
Helmand Province: Police claim they’ve arrested two assassins who told them that people are being paid 50-thousand Pakistani Rupees for each Afghan politician they kill. Apparently it doesn’t matter if the politician is pro-U.S. occupation or not. In Washir District, men from the district traveled to Nimrod Province where they kidnapped a man. The relatives of the kidnap victim said ‘bullshit on that!’ and went on the warpath, following the kidnappers back to Helmand Province. A firefight ensued, resulting in three of the kidnappers being killed. The rescuers then hung the bodies from a roadside billboard. One of the rescuers was killed.
Herat Province: In Chisht Sharif District, four cops killed and three wounded after Mujahideen attacked their checkpoint. One cop is Missing In Action. Mujahideen say they captured two cops as well as weapons and ammo. In Anjil District, a former commander and his wife were assassinated, their daughter was wounded. In Herat City, a 10th police district checkpoint was attacked, one cop killed two wounded. At a customs checkpoint two cops were shot and killed by men on motorcycles. In Gazra District, villagers in the Ziyar Tajar area report that government lackeys assassinated one of their elders.
Kabul Province: Some members of the Afghan parliament are calling for the registration of all Mosques, and a qualification system for new Mosques, proving this U.S. led occupation is a religious war on Islam. President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani ordered a fraud investigation involving a $215-million USD fuel supply contract for the Ministry of Defense. It’s the result of investigations by U.S. Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR). At FOB (Forward Operating Base) Oqab, Puerto Rico’s National Guard conducting initial C-130 Hercules maintenance courses for Afghans, who will later go to the United States for further training: “We are trying to provide them aircraft familiarization, much like we do back home. In the Guard, an Airman can go to basic training, and then wait up to a full year to attend training. Kandahar Province: In Maiwand District, two policemen shot and killed four other cops. In Kandahar City Mujahideen say they’ve assassinated an agent of the National Directorate of Security, as well as a spy (local contractor) working for the United States.
Nangarhar Province: In Surkh Rowd District, Mujahideen report they’ve captured at least four men who were being paid to terrorize villagers by looting their homes and kidnapping some villagers for ransom. Mujahideen say initially these ‘terrorists’ were targeting middle and upper class Afghans, but are now targeting everybody. In Naziyan District, Mujahideen claim they shot down a U.S.-NATO Boeing Chinook helicopter. They say the Chinook was providing Afghan government forces with air support during an offensive. Witnesses say the helicopter burst into flames before impacting the ground.
Nimroz Province: In Chakhansur District, Mujahideen ambushed a National Directorate of Security vehicle, killing three NDS agents and wounding three.
Paktika Province: In Yahiya Khail District, government mercenaries (security contractors) demolished 15 homes and one Mosque. Residents of 100 homes were told they had three days to join with the pro-U.S. government or leave!
Parwan Province: In Charikar City, police say two groups of men started shooting at each other. Two killed, four wounded. Police don’t think they’re Mujahideen.
Samangan Province: It’s been revealed that German taxpayers will spend about $13-million running new electricity power lines to the towns of Aybak and Pir Naghchir. German taxpayers are funding electricity systems in the provinces of Balkh, Samangan and Baghlan.
