Baghlan Province: In Puli Khumri City, a moneychanger was assassinated by unknown gunmen. Locals suspect extortion by U.S. puppet Afghan government forces.
Helmand Province: In Musa Qala District, seven civilians killed, eight wounded, when the bus they were in drove over a landmine. In Sangin District, three polio vaccination workers were assassinated by explosion. In Washir District, people report that U.S./U.K.-NATO forces kidnapped a shopkeeper.
Herat Province: In Keshk Rabat-Sangi District, a motorcycle bomb exploded, killing two cops and wounding four employees of the U.S. backed presidential candidate Abdullah Abdullah.
Kabul Province: U.S. occupied Afghanistan’s first vice president and U.S. backed Northern Alliance warlord, Mohammad Qasim Fahim, died from long term health problems. In Kabul City, a Swedish reporter was assassinated by a single gunshot. The attackers got away.
Kandahar Province: In Maiwand District, two Afghan National Army troops killed by explosion.
Khost Province: Pakistan says Afghan border police fired 25 mortar rounds from Tarkhobi camp into Pakistan. No casualties reported.
Kunduz Province: In Kunduz City, a man walking home from work was shot and killed by U.S. puppet Afghan government personnel. No explanation given.
Laghman Province: In Mehtarlam City, six Afghan National Army and Police were killed when the bomb they were trying to defuse exploded. Six were wounded.
Nangarhar Province: In Chaprihar District, a heliborne U.S./U.K.-NATO led Israeli style home invasions resulted in at least seven people kidnapped, homes destroyed.
China’s foreign minister, Wang Yi, said China will support Afghanistan (after the U.S. supposedly leaves) to fight ‘terrorism’.
