Capitol Police press conference says woman tried to ram through White House gate.  Shots fired by Secret Service.  Woman drove off, police chase ensued and more gunshots fired by cops.  Reports that a child was in car.  Police did not report condition of suspect.  Declared lockdown lifted.  Other gunshots heard probably not related.

Images of suspect vehicle show a high end black Infiniti coupe.  Images being posted showing people shooting at the car, who are not wearing police uniforms.  Unnamed police sources say woman driver was shot and killed by cops.  There was a man in the car who is claimed to have shot at police.  There was a infant girl in the car.

People interviewed by local TV news saying they heard gunshots in areas not reported by police.
