The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has responded to Japan’s request for help regarding the expanding nuclear disaster at Fukushima Daiichi!

The IAEA says it is ready to help.  The IAEA has offered help before, but it wasn’t until after the 19 August leak that Japan’s Nuclear Regulation Authority finally asked for help.
