32 kilometers (20 miles) north of Waco, Texas, a fertilizer factory exploded dramatically. The explosion took place right before the anniversary of two important dates; the end of the federal instigated Waco Siege, and the vengeful Oklahoma City Bombing.
It happened around 19:50 UTC-06 Sierra.
Live video shows lines of emergency response vehicles streaming into the small town of West, Texas, where the explosion took place.
Home video shows the fertilizer factory on fire before it explodes. Witnesses say residents were just being told the site was on fire and to get the hell out, right before the explosion. Other witnesses say they heard three explosions, another said the explosion blew out the windshield on his vehicle, people living further away thought it was an earthquake.
Local reports say several hundreds of casualties, many who were hit by debris and fire from the explosion. Avoid Interstate 35.
