On 18 April 2013, the U.S. House passed the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act (CISPA), despite that fact that most businesses, human rights groups and individuals are against it! Apparently even Obama threatened to veto it.
The FBI supports CISPA, which now goes to the U.S. Senate for debate.
