“The idea that views non-Jews as having equal rights in the state goes against the opinion of the Torah…”-IDF version of Laws of the Mezuzah
Last year the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) approved a book called Laws of the Mezuzah. It was endorsed and written by IDF rabbis.
Basically the book tells IDF members that non-Jews (Gentiles; Christians, Muslims etc) living in Israel do not have the same political or economic rights as Jews.
The book also says that doorways/buildings should be marked with mezuzahs (a container with a verse from the Torah), so that IDF personnel can quickly identify who is not a Jew: “….the military establishment must see to it that mezuzahs are installed….”-IDF Laws of the Mezuzah
Even Israeli media sources are saying the IDF version of Laws of the Mezuzah is “showing non-Jews the door”. (sounds like NAZI stuff to me, and all you happy taxpayers in the U.S. are paying to support this kind-o-stuff)
